The Under 9s won all five of their league games to come top of their group and face Sphinx in the semi-final.

After a 0-0 score at the end of extra time, it once again came down to penalties, but Chaps showed them why they are the masters of the penalty shoot-out and sent Sphinx crashing out for the second time this season.

In a dramatic final, Christ the King took the lead from a well placed free kick and looked to dominate for most of the match. Then, in the last couple of minutes of normal time, a composed run and clinical finish by Jacob resulted in an equaliser, and took the game to extra time. After that, Chaps looked the much stronger and more determined team, resulting in Warren putting another past the keeper to make it 2-1 to Chaps. The team pulled together to keep the pressure on, with Jake making some excellent clearences from corner kicks to keep the team in the lead until the final whistle blew.

Another fantastic team performance by the boys, and a well deserverved win to end the season on a high!
