Earsdon Rugby Club have kindly allowed us to hold the event at their ground and have asked that we respect their property.
Team Managers will be held responsible for any damage caused by their players or supporters.
First Aid facilities will be on site both days.
Parking
Parking will be available within the grounds of the club, with a charge of £2.00 per car which includes a programme for the day.
Parking on the road outside is strictly forbidden
Registration
Team managers must register their squad (maximum 8 players) by 9.00 am for morning matches, and by 14.00 pm for afternoon matches.
Managers Meeting
There will be a Managers meeting at 9.15 am and 14.15 pm to clarify the format, rules, and any other matters arising.
Each team is requested to provide a match ball.
Format
Age groups will be for the season 2009/2010.
Kick-off times:
Mornings 9.30 am
Afternoons 14.30 pm
Saturday morning: Under 9's and Under 11's
Saturday afternoon: Under 13's and Under 15's
Sunday morning: Under 7's, Under 8's and Under 10's
Sunday afternoon: Under 12's and Under 14's
The above age groups will be put into leagues of 6 teams (entries permitting).
The top team from each league will progress to the semi-finals depending on league numbers, except Under 7's and 8's who will play for fun. No results will be collected for the Under 7's or 8's and all participants will receive a medal.
All league games shall be of ten minutes duration. There will be no half-time.
Positions will be decided thus:
- Most points (3 for a win, 1 for a draw)
- Most wins
- Best goal difference
- Scored most goals
- Results between teams involved
Knockout Stage
The semi-finals and final will be over 10 minutes (no half-time). If scores are level after normal time the teams shall change ends and one player from each side will go off before play resumes, then one each minute until only two players remain on the field of play, first goal wins. At all times there should be a nominated goal keeper.
