Charity Match - Friday 16th October 2009
Every year Chapelfields Colts hold a football match in order to raise money for a selected charity. This year, the match will be played between the two Under 15s teams to raise funds to two people close to their teams:
William James: William has been playing football for Chaps since the age of 6. Earlier this year he was hit by a motorcycle. Due to his severe injuries, he will be unable to play this season. We would like to raise some money to help with the expenses the family have incurred as a result of this accident.
Lee McManus: Lee is the Under 15s Crusaders manager, and has been coaching the team for many years. Lee has undergone major surgery this year, so we would like to raise some money to help aid him in his recuperation.
The match will be played under the flood lights at the Coventry University Westwood grounds on Friday 16th October, with kick-off set for 6:30pm.
We would very much appreciate your support for this event, so please come along and show your support for the two teams. All managers at the club have sponsor forms, so anything you are able to offer would be gratefully accepted.

Chaps Festival of Football 2009
This year's Chapelfields Colts FC 6-a-side tournament was a huge success, living up to it's 'Festival of Football' title.
The event took place over the weekend of 27th and 28th June with over 180 teams taking part and enjoying a great weekend of football.
Big thanks go out to everybody involved in organising the event and making sure everything went to plan, and to all of those that kindly gave up their time to help out over the two days.
We would like to say 'well done' to all Chaps teams that took part over the weekend, but particularly to the Under 15's A team who put in a fantastic performance on the Saturday to win in the final!
